Arriving by train:
The Arosa Line winds its way through Chur like a leisurely tram, passing the city wall, the Malteserturm and the Obertor – the most famous landmark of the Graubünden cantonal capital. But soon, the enchanting rail tour of the city comes to an end. At the edge of the city, the Arosa Line turns into a mountain railway and winds its way up through the wild Schanfigg valley towards the famous holiday resort of Arosa. The train climbs over a thousand metres on a stretch of railway that is only 26 kilometres long.
