The toboggan run from Prätschli to Obersee is the perfect alternative to skiing in Arosa. Thanks to free local buses, the short distance back can be traveled as often as you like. At the start, the valley is wide open, the Prätschli is on the edge of the forest and offers a beautiful panoramic view over the mountain scenery of Arosa, Davos and Lenzerheide. The view can be enjoyed on the initially relatively flat toboggan run. Here you have to find out how best to steer the sled – because then things really get going. With a relatively steep gradient, the toboggan run plunges into the light forest. It overcomes some sharp curves and crosses the ski slope in the Scheitenböden. The destination at Arosa train station is reached in an arc. Right next door is the Obersee, which, depending on the thickness of the ice in winter, is open for ice skating and hockey.
