Enjoy your mountain vacations with enough distance, enough space as well as our warm and honest hospitality – just in the usual Hof Maran manner!

The health of you and our employees is very important to us, therefore we adhere to the valid regulations of the Federal Office for Health. We count on your help in implementing the protection concept and your personal responsibility in complying with the measures.

Keep your distance

  • The minimum distance of 1.5 meters should be maintained at all times. Please also note the floor markings and the number of people per room.
  • We recommend that you use the lift alone or only with your companions.

Symptoms of illness

  • If you have not felt well in the last 10 days before your arrival or have shown the following acute symptoms such as coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath with or without fever, feverish feeling, no sense of taste and / or aching limbs, please contact your family doctor and refrain from visiting. We will gladly postpone your reservation to a later date.
  • If you do not feel well during your stay, or if the above mentioned symptoms occur, please contact our reception team immediately.

Hygiene & Protection

  • In the entire hotel and restaurant area, sufficient hand disinfectant is available to you and our staff.
  • All guests over 12 years of age are required to wear a mask in rooms accessible to the public as well as in the outdoor area of the hotel grounds.
  • In order to guarantee the best possible hygiene, we have further tightened our already high standards.
  • The most frequently touched surfaces (door handles, lifts, handrails, reception area, toilets, etc.) are thoroughly and carefully disinfected at increased frequency.
  • Attention is paid to regular ventilation of public spaces.
  • Our employees consistently wear protective masks in all areas.

  • All departments are familiar with our protective concepts and hygiene regulations and receive regular training.
  • All employees are given a fever measurement before starting work.

Arrival

  • The transfer from and to the station is still available.
  • The hotel bus is carefully disinfected at all critical points of contact after each journey.
  • Wearing a mask is obligatory in all public transport as well as in mountain and cable cars (waiting areas included).

Sauna & Fitness

  • In the sauna and fitness area we guarantee protection by means of personal restrictions.
  • In the sauna area, wearing a mask is obligatory. Wearing a mask in the steam bath and saunas is excluded.

  • In the fitness area, mouth and nose protection can be dispensed with during training, provided that the minimum distance is observed. The mask must be worn during training breaks and in the cloakroom/WC.

  • Every guest is requested to use the fitness equipment to disinfect after use.
  • Sauna visits must be pre-booked at the reception desk.

Reception & Hotel Room

  • Plexiglas partitions and floor markings ensure the necessary minimum distance during check-in/check-out.
  • A cashless payment of the hotel bill is welcomed. To avoid long waiting times at the reception, we recommend you to settle the invoice the evening before departure.
  • Due to the distance rules, a maximum of 2 parties can (1-2 persons each) – if both workstations are occupied, we ask our guests to wait in the lobby/hotel bar.
  • The room keys are disinfected before each handover to the guest.
  • Information material and brochures are still available at the reception desk. Personal copies may be taken along, but may not be returned to the display.
  • In the hotel rooms, the display of brochures and the hotel folder is dispensed with. Instead, our Hof Maran online guide with all important information is available to you.
  • Writing materials have been removed from the hotel rooms and are available on request at the reception desk.
  • The housekeeping department strictly adheres to the tightened regulations.
  • Highly efficient and disinfectant cleaning agents are used for cleaning in the rooms and public areas as well as in the lingerie shop.
  • We do not offer evening service, but if you still wish to have evening service, please inform our reception desk by 17.00 hrs.
  • If you do not wish to have your room cleaned during your stay please report this directly to the reception.
  • Housekeeping will only enter the hotel rooms,if there is no guest in the room.
  • For hygienic reasons, the desired drinks and snacks from the minibar at the reception are available on request.

Restaurant

  • Due to capacity restrictions in our restaurants, table reservations are mandatory.
  • All guests in the restaurant as well as on the terrace are placed by one employee – there is no free choice of table. In the waiting area as well as in the outside area of the restaurants, the minimum distance applies as well.
  • In the restaurants, the chairs and tables are placed in such a way as to ensure compliance with the distance regulations.
  • Breakfast and dinner can be served in two service hours, depending on the capacity of our restaurant.
  • The breakfast buffet has been adapted according to the current regulations and may only be passed through in the marked direction.
  • The protective mask must be worn at all times, except when seated at the table.
  • A maximum of 4 guests per table and group of guests is allowed, except for families with children.
  • To be able to trace chains of infection,the following measures are taken:

  • If there is a shortfall of the required distance for more than 15 minutes comes between groups of guests without protective measures.
  • For families or other groups of people known to each other, it is sufficient to enter the contact details of only one person of the family or group in question.
  • All food and drink menus are carefully disinfected after each use. In addition, you have the possibility to digitally using QR codes.
  • Our restaurants and the hotel bar are closed from 23.00 hours.

“If, after your definitive reservation regarding Covid-19, the Swiss government issues a travel ban to Switzerland for your country of origin, closes the Swiss border, or if you have to go into quarantine on entering Switzerland or leaving the country, our contractual cancellation period does not apply and you can cancel your reservation free of charge. If you have already made an advance payment, you can choose between a refund or credit to your next stay. In case of symptoms of a respiratory disease, please do not arrive and contact our reservation department by phone.”
