MARANER STUBE

Regional, down-to-earth, innovative

Our cosy Maraner Stube with its large sun terrace is also ideal for a small snack in between meals. The pâtisserie is made fresh in-house every day. In the evening you can order alpine dishes with an international touch from our exquisite evening menu. We focus on top regional products and traditional down-to-earthness, paired with innovative culinary art.

BÜNDNER STÜBLI

Raclette and fondue - two classics

An original Walser tavern from the 19th century – the perfect setting for our cheese specialities such as fondue and raclette. Our fondue is right next door and is not the only highlight of the Maran Alpine dairy. Half board restaurant with panoramic view

In spring 2021 we have renovated our restaurants. Our half-board restaurant Veranda on the 1st floor has been given a completely new look. The new interior comes in the usual modern and homely style and has transformed our Veranda into a real gem. Experience culinary moments of pleasure with a panoramic view.

STÜVA MEDERGEN

The perfect start to the day

In the breakfast room “Stüva Medergen” you can enjoy
a magnificent view of the neighbouring cross-country ski trail. If you look a little further, you can spot the Walser village of Medergen in the distance. The round crystal chandeliers made of Swiss mountain crystals bathe the room in a pleasant light and at the same time have an energising effect. The newly created breakfast buffet made of natural stone and oak perfectly showcases the large regional breakfast selection.

Opening hours: Daily from 07.30 to 10.30 a.m.

Where the evening comes to a cosy end

After biking or hiking, enjoy a few cosy hours with a fine regional drink by the fireplace or round off the evening with your favourite cocktail from out Chef de Bar Lubmoir Somov. The billiard table is ideal for an exciting family duel.

GOLFHUUS

Eat comfortably by the fireplace and enjoy the view

The Golfhuus – known for its cosy atmosphere inside by the fireplace and outside on the terrace as well as the breathtaking view of the golf course and the stunning mountain panorama. The two hosts Florian Ettinger (Chef de Service) and Felix Harm (Chef de Cuisine) serve you small and large delicacies.

9. Schanfigg Cooks

Together with the Bäuerinnen- und Landfrauenverband Scanfigg Association, chef Cyrill Pflugi hosted a kitchen party. Regional delicacies from Schanfigg took centre stage during the evening. The following members of the Bäuerinnen- und Landfrauenverband Scanfigg Association cooked that evening: Evie Sprecher I Corina Jäger I Kathrin Sprecher I Anita Gadient I Rahel Margreth I Petra Hartmann I Maja Plump I Petra Berger I Andrea Grischott. The wines were presented by the Jann Marugg winery.

NEW CAR PARK AND STAFF HOUSE

Our car park

In April 2023, we started building our new car park and staff building in the north-east of our site. You can already park your car in our newly built car park this winter. As we only have a limited number of parking spaces, we recommend that you make a reservation. More information to the new building.

9. CHEF’S NIGHT

For the ninth time, Cyrill Pflugi will be cooking together with his chef friends. The guest chefs are quite impressive: Gerd Reber (chef at the “Waldhotel Arosa” with 16 GaultMillau points at the restaurant “Kachelofa-Stübli” and member of the Cercle des Chefs de Cuisine Arosa), Yannick Hänggi (host at the “Simply im Rössli” in Laufen, he was previously at the “Hof Maran” and sous chef at the restaurant “Matisse” with Erik Schröter with 1 Michelin star and 17 GaultMillau points), Karsten Zahn (former chef at the “Cristallo”, Arosa and at the “Hotel Hohe Promenade”, Arosa, currently working at the “Sportpark Rabenberg”), Markus “Frosch” Trösch (cooking course leader “Frog’s Crazy Kitchen”, Berikon and member of the Cercle des Chefs de Cuisine Arosa) and other chefs.
