Regional, down-to-earth, innovative.

Our cosy Maraner Stube with large sun terrace is also ideal for the small hunger in between. The pâtisserie is made fresh in-house every day. In the evening you can order alpine dishes with an international touch from our exquisite evening menu. We focus on top regional products and traditional down-to-earthness, paired with innovative culinary art.

BÜNDNER STÜBLI

Raclette and fondue - two classics.

An original Walserstube from the 19th century – the right setting for our cheese specialities such as fondue and raclette. By the way, the fondue is right next door and not the only highlight of the Maran Alpine dairy.

In spring 2021 we have renovated our restaurants. Our half-board restaurant Veranda on the 1st floor has been given a completely new look. The new interior comes in the usual modern and homely style and has transformed our Veranda into a real gem. Experience culinary moments of pleasure with a panoramic view.

STÜVA MEDERGEN

The perfect start to the day.

In the breakfast room “Stüva Medergen” you can enjoy
a magnificent view of the neighbouring cross-country ski trail. If you lift your gaze even further, you can spot the Walser village of Medergen in the distance. The round crystal chandeliers made of Swiss rock crystals bathe the room in a pleasant light and at the same time have an energising effect.

Where to end the evening comfortably

After skiing, enjoy cosy hours with a fine regional drop by the fireplace or end the evening with your favourite cocktail from our Chef de Bar Lubomir Somov. The billiard table is perfect for an exciting family duel.

GOLFHUUS

Eat comfortably by the fireplace and enjoy the view.

The Golfhuus – known for its cosy atmosphere inside by the fireplace and outside on the terrace as well as the breathtaking view of the golf course and the stunning mountain panorama. The two hosts Florian Ettinger (Chef de Service) and Felix Harm (Chef de Cuisine) serve you small and large delicacies.

9. CHEF’S NIGHT

Zum neunten Mal kochte Cyrill Pflugi gemeinsam mit befreundeten Küchenchefs. Die Schar der Gastköche konnte sich sehen lassen: Gerd Reber (Küchenchef im «Waldhotel Arosa» mit 16 GaultMillau Punkten im Restaurant «Kachelofa-Stübli» und Mitglied des Cercle des Chefs de Cuisine Arosa), Yannick Hänggi (Gastgeber im «Simply im Rössli» in Laufen, er war zuvor im «Hof Maran» und Sous-Chef im Restaurant «Matisse» bei Erik Schröter mit 1 Michelin Stern und 17 GaultMillau Punkten), Karsten Zahn (ehemals Küchenchef im «Cristallo», Arosa und im «Hotel Hohe Promenade», Arosa, zurzeit tätig im «Sportpark Rabenberg»), Markus «Frosch» Trösch (Kochkursleiter «Frog’s Crazy Kitchen», Berikon und Mitglied des Cercle des Chefs de Cuisine Arosa) sowie weitere Köche.
